London, Canada is recognized for its strength and expertise as a Materials Centre of Excellence, and launched this website to provide an overview of companies who specialize in advanced materials, as well as research that is being undertaken at the University of Western Ontario, affiliated research institutes, Fanshawe College and the National Research Council.  Our goal is to raise awareness of research activity within London’s research institutes with private industry, to publicize results of research to the national and international materials community, and to provide integrated technical solutions to industry.

There are many institutions in London that provide expertise in materials science, and welcome the opportunity to work with industry to assist in identifying new technologies, work  through challenges, and explore ongoing partnership opportunities.  They can be found under Resources.

There is a detailed listing of programs offered at both educational institutes that are producing the skilled talent that are highly sought after by industry and for post graduate research.
